Commentary Description:  This is a very elegant gold Florentine wood frame.  It is simple yet ornate, with embossed roses and leaves.  The gold is not as shiny as some frames, just a little on the edges of some of the embossing.  Overall, the gold appearance is not as yellow or brassy looking, it is more of a brownish color yet still appears metallic and shiny on sides, and as mentioned, on parts of the embossed foliage.  Sides have slightly streaked/speckled look within gold.    Although smaller, it is sturdy enough for a 16 X 20 but visually more suited to smaller pieces.  Very nice choice!
