Commentary Description:  This is a very elegant silver Florentine wood frame.  It is simple yet ornate, with embossed roses and leaves.  The silver is is shiny on the edges of some of the embossing and on the sides of the frame.  Although it is silver, there are very slight gold/brown tones which are also present.  The lighting in this scan shows a bit more gold tone on the left side than is actually in the moulding--just the way the light hit it when scanned.   Overall, the appearance is silvery.  Sides have slightly streaked look within silver.    Although smaller, it is sturdy enough for a 16 X 20 but visually more suited to smaller pieces.  Very nice choice!
