Commentary Description:  This is a very beautiful silver leaf frame.  Although it is called "silver", it appears almost like a light whitish gold---only in comparison with Frame #8 (Broken Gold Leaf) does it seem less gold looking and more toward a silver.  It is just not as true of a silver as some silver frames appear.  Nevertheless, a popular choice and very beautiful and elegant.  Has embossed flowers and leaves near outer edge, and embossed beading near inner lip.  A very sturdy and substantial frame for larger pieces especially but also looks nice on smaller pieces.
