Commissioned portraits are available in a variety of media:
oil,
watercolor, charcoal, pastel, pencil, colored pencil.
Artist typically works from photos either supplied by client or
taken herself. In some cases artist may work directly from
model. You may view examples of her work by clicking on a
thumbnail image below for the enlarged view. Also view
original reference photos used in creating the portrait. Because of the custom nature of

Artist's Statement:
As an artist I do many types
of work, but I have found that I gain some of my greatest artistic
and personal satisfaction through portraiture. Capturing a
person’s likeness and telling the story of who they are through my
work is a very meaningful process to me. When a client commissions
me to do a portrait, I know that I will be working with them to
create a lasting, cherished treasure of a loved one and will be
preserving their memories of moments in time.
I normally work from photographs but
also am available to work from portrait sittings.
